AC Repair in Hilo Rooted in Local Experience

Ikaika Naeole founded Hilo Hani Cooling Services to serve the homes and businesses he knows from growing up in Hilo, focusing on practical AC repair that holds up in Hawaii County’s conditions. From the start he has worked on systems in older neighborhoods like Downtown Hilo and Puueo, where frequent rain and steady humidity speed up corrosion on coils and drains.

Operating from 325 E Makaala St Ste 111A, the team handles AC replacement & installation in Waiakea homes and properties near Hilo Bay, Liliuokalani Gardens, and Rainbow Falls. The same approach extends to calls from Pahoa and Keaau, where terrain and weather patterns create different load demands on equipment.

We stay open Mon-Sun 24/7 so residents can reach a local operator when a unit fails during heavy showers rather than waiting for mainland-style scheduling.
